Temporary Notice

These Terms are a temporary, plain-English placeholder for ScreenGrant. They are provided so the product can be reviewed and tested while a formal legal policy is prepared. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use ScreenGrant.

Use at Your Own Risk

ScreenGrant is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that ScreenGrant will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, compatible with every device, or effective for every family, child, app, network, operating system, or situation.

You are responsible for deciding whether ScreenGrant is appropriate for your household and for supervising any child, device, account, setting, rule, schedule, task, approval, notification, or restriction connected to your use of ScreenGrant.

Parent and Guardian Responsibility

ScreenGrant is a tool to help families coordinate device access, tasks, approvals, and related settings. It is not a substitute for parenting, supervision, safety planning, medical advice, legal advice, educational advice, emergency response, or professional support.

You are responsible for obtaining any permissions required to install, configure, monitor, restrict, or manage a device or account, including permissions from parents, guardians, children, schools, employers, platforms, and device owners where applicable.

Accounts and Devices

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, the security of your account credentials, and all activity that occurs through your account or devices. You agree not to misuse ScreenGrant, attempt to bypass security, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the service, or use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.

No Guaranteed Enforcement

Device restrictions, app controls, usage reports, VPN features, notifications, approval flows, and similar functionality may fail, be delayed, be inaccurate, be bypassed, or be limited by operating systems, app stores, device settings, network conditions, permissions, third-party services, bugs, updates, or user behavior. You should not rely on ScreenGrant as the sole means of preventing access to content, apps, communications, purchases, services, or devices.

Third-Party Services

ScreenGrant may rely on third-party platforms and services, including app stores, operating systems, authentication providers, payment providers, push notification services, email providers, hosting providers, and analytics or diagnostics tools. We are not responsible for third-party services, terms, policies, outages, data handling, or decisions.

Subscriptions and Payments

Any paid features, subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be handled by third-party app stores or payment providers and may be subject to their separate terms and policies. Features and pricing may change at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScreenGrant and its owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, device access, parental control, family trust, business, or opportunity, arising from or related to ScreenGrant.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to ScreenGrant will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use ScreenGrant in the three months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.

Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ScreenGrant and its owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of ScreenGrant, your devices or accounts, your family setup, your content or data, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Changes and Termination

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue ScreenGrant or these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe there has been misuse, risk, legal exposure, or a violation of these Terms.
